Hi! I'm Rebecca Lee, a product designer living in Brooklyn. My career path is a little unconventional, but it's given me a unique perspective on product development.
I graduated college with a degree in Quantitative Finance, but quickly realized my passion lay elsewhere. I shifted into tech, as a front end web developer for high profile clients like Goldman Sachs and Mercedes Benz. While I enjoyed the technical side, I found myself drawn to the creative problem solving of design. This led me to my role at NBC, where I've grown from a design technologist into a product designer. In this role, I've had the opportunity to work across a variety of brands, including CNBC, TODAY, and Telemundo, where I've tackled challenges like building subscription flows and launching new streaming products. My varied background, from finance to engineering, has taught me how to pivot quickly between projects and see design problems from multiple angles.
Outside of work you can find me hanging out with my cats Silvio and Paulie, watching a yankees game, or reading non-fiction.
